Our experienced artisans can construct extremely life-like scale models of just about anything. We can create a scale model of buildings, either already in existence or something that you plan on building. It can be any kind of building or landscape that you have in mind. For instance, if you wanted to make a movie about ancient Babylon, its famous Hanging Gardens or the Tower of Babel (pictured here) we can build a scale model that would convince any viewer that itis the real thing. These models can also be used as museum exhibits or just as art pieces in your home or office building. Some may want a scaled representation of Babylon and it's surroundings for religious purposes, such as a display at a church or temple. All that remains of the original ancient famed city of Babylon today is a mound of broken mud-brick buildings and debris in the fertile Mesopotamian plain between theTigris and Euphrates rivers. The city was originally built upon the Euphrates, and divided in equal parts along its left and right banks, with steep embankments to contain the river's seasonal floods. Available historical resources suggest that Babylon was at first a small town which had sprung up by the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC. The town flourished and attained independence with the rise ofthe First Amorite Babylonian Dynasty in 1894 BC. Due to the importance of Babylon in its time as well as the stories in the Bible the word "Babylon" in various languages has acquired a generic meaning of a large, bustling diverse city. As such, the word "Babylon" is used for various entertainment events or buildings. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon are considered to be one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. They were built in the ancient city of Babylon. The gardens were supposedly built by the Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar II around 600 BC. He is reported to have constructed the gardens to please his homesick wife, Amytis of Media, who longed for the trees and fragrant plants of her homeland. The gardens were destroyed by several earthquakes after the 2nd century BC. The Geek form of the name Babylon is from the native Akkadian Bab-ilim, which means "Gate of the god", which summarizes the religious purpose of the great temple Tower of Babel. In Genesis 10, Babel is said to have formed part of Nimrod's kingdom. It is not specifically mentioned in the Bible that he ordered the tower to be built, but Nimrod is often associated with its construction in other sources. People have been fascinated with this early Biblical city since BC and this city is still referenced regularly to this day. Our skilled modelmakers can construct convincing scale models for whatever you purpose is, whether it is a replica of an existing or historic building or structure or one in your imagination. Just provide us with you ideas, drawings, photos and sketches and we can work closely with you to construct exactly what you request.

Planning on building a professional building and want to know what it looks like at a smaller scale before actually starting construction on a larger scale? Our architectural designers and draftsmen can work with you to create scale models of any kind of building you are thinking about building. Our scale models are physical models, a representation or copy of an object that is larger or smaller than the actual size of the object, which seeks to maintain the relative proportions (the scale factor) of the physical size of the original object. Very often the scale model is used as a guide to making the object in full size. Scale models are built or collected for many reasons. Our professional modelmakers often create models for many professions. Engineers sometimes require scale models to test the likely performance of a particular design at an early stage of development without incurring the full expense of a full-sized prototype.Architects often times require architectural models to evaluate and sell the look of a new construction before it is built. Filmmakers need scale models of objects or sets that cannot be built in full size. Salesmen many times require scale models to promote new products such as heavy equipment and automobiles and other vehicles. Hobbyists or amateur modelmakers make die-cast models, injection molded, model railroads, remote control vehicles, wargaming and fantasy collectibles, model ships and ships in bottles for their own enjoyment. Scale models can also be objects of art, either being created by artistsor being rediscovered and transformed into art by artists. Pictured here is a miniature scaled model of a professional office building, including black glass and a clock tower that was built to help sell thedesign and concept of the building before construction could begin. As you can see, it is very difficult to tell the difference between the model and the actual building. Another benefit of creating a scale model is that you can layout the landscaping for the property and really see what works and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and fits with the building design. Our skilled modelmakers can make a scaled model of any building or object you have in mind. Just give us a call and submit your ideas, drawings, photos and sketches and we can begin to collaborate to produce a scaled model that will suit your purpose.

Our company has created many scaled Roman buildings and structures over the years for the film industry and tv. They have also been used for displays at museums and theme parks as well. We can build scaled model replicas of any Roman building or structure in history and we can also create customized buildings to your specifications. Countless movies have been made about the Roman empire and its rise in power and its eventual decline and all the intriguing events and cultural practices in between. Ancient Rome was the largest city in the then known world. It is thought that Rome’s population was over 1 million people when the city was at the height of its power. From Rome, the heart of government beat; military decisions were taken and the vast wealth Rome earned was invested in a series of magnificent buildings. To start with, many buildings in Rome were built around the forum. Traditionally, this hadbeen a market place and an area where people met. Therefore, it would have been a natural place to put government buildings, temples and palaces. As Rome grew, however, theforum became more and more crowded. Therefore, a second city centre was planned and built some distance from the forum but still in Rome itself. Rome itself had some magnificent buildings erected within the city. Some exist to this day, all be it in a less wonderful state. The most famous is probably the Colosseum, pictured here, where thousands of Roman citizens would gather for their entertainment, be it animals fighting or gladiators. Such grand buildings were constructed so that emperors would be remembered by future generations. The Colosseum was built on the orders of the Emperor Vespasian and completed when the Emperor Titus was in power. The building was finally completed in AD 80. Some other amazing architecture built by the ancient Romans are the complex of templesatop the rugged rock we call the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, also pictured here. They are not a mere collectionof ruins, nor are they a mere tourist destination. Acropolis literally means edge or point of the city, and throughout the centuries in has embodied a much more significant position not in relation to a city, but in relation to an entire civilization. A heavy burden to say the least; but a burden that the discolored marbles carry with effortless grace. Please contact us and let us know how we can work for you to create whatever Roman building at any scale you desire and to any level of detail you request. These models can be used for films, tv, museums, theme parks, art exhibits or even for personal use.

Our skilled artisans create these convincing replicas of ancient Egyptian wall carvings and inscriptions for your Egyptian films or displays. They are built to scale to allow ease of filming and can be constructed at whatever size you require. You will be amazed at the accurate depiction these scaled models portray, paying very close attention to every detail. We can also create a custom wall carving or inscription that you may have in mind. Just submit your ideas, photos and drawings to us and we will work closely with you every step of the way to ensure you receive exactly what you envisioned and our artists can also help with the creative process as much as needed. People have always been fascinated with the origin and content of Egyptian hieroglyphics. The ancient Egyptians believed that writing was invented by the god Thoth and called their hieroglyphic script "mdwt ntr" (god's words). The word hieroglyph comes from the Greek hieros (sacred) plus glypho(inscriptions) and was first used by Clement of Alexandria. The earliest known examples of writing in Egypt have been dated to 3,400 BC. The hieroglyphic script was used mainly for formal inscriptions on the walls of temples and tombs. Perhaps the greatest testaments to the Egyptians' power are the pyramids and other tombs they built to shelter them in the afterlife. Our skilled professionals can construct scaled models of Egyptian and Mayan Pyramids to your exact specifications. As you can see, we have already constructed pyramids for films in the past and even included built-in lighting for night scenes. These well lit pyramids can also be used at theme parks, museums or any other purpose you can imagine. Ancient Egyptians believed that when the pharaoh died, he became Osiris, king of the dead. The new pharaoh became Horus, god of the heavens and protector of the sun god. This cycle was symbolized by the rising and setting of the sun. Some part of a dead pharaoh's spirit, called his ka, was believed to remain with his body. And it was thought that if the corpse did not have proper care, the former pharaoh would not be able to carry out his new duties as king of the dead. If this happened, the cycle would be broken and disaster would befall Egypt. To prevent such a catastrophe, each dead pharaoh was mummified, which preserved his body, and placed in one of these magnificent pyramids. Everything the king would need in his afterlife was provided in his grave—vessels made of clay, stone, and gold, furniture, food, even doll-like representations of servants, known as ushabti. His body would continue to receive food offerings long after his death. Just let us know what kind of Egyptian or Mayan pyramid, wall carving or inscription you have in mind and we will help you obtain what you are looking for by collaborating with you to create what you need.

Italian Leaning Tower of Piza Scaled Theme Park Model

We have created scaled models of many different historical landmarks around the world, including the Italian Leaning Tower of Pisa, pictured here. This model was used as part of theme park featuring many different architectural marvels and "wonders" of the world for people to see all in one theme park on a smaller level, making sight-seeing of all these amazing structures much easier and cost effective than traveling he world to see them. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, shown here, is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city ofPisa. It is situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in Pisa's Cathedral Square after the Cathedral and the Baptistry. At full scale the height of the tower is 183.27 ft from the ground on the low side and 186.02 ft on the high side. The width ofthe walls at the base is 13.42 ft and at the top 8.14 ft. Its weight is estimated at 14,500 metric tons. The tower has 296 or 294 steps; the seventh floor has two fewer steps on the north-facing staircase. Prior to restoration work performed between 1990 and 2001, the tower leaned at an angle of 5.5 degrees, but the tower now leans at about 3.99 degrees. This means that the top of the tower is displaced horizontally 12 ft 10 in from where it would be if the structure were perfectly vertical. The tower began to sink after construction had progressed to the second floor in 1178. This was due to a mere three-metre foundation, set in weak, unstable subsoil, a design that was flawed from the beginning. Construction was subsequently halted for almost a century, because the Republic of Pisa was almost continually engaged in battles with Genoa, Lucca and Florence. This allowed time for the underlying soil to settle. Otherwise, the tower would almost certainly have toppled. In 1198 clocks were temporarily installed on the third floor of the unfinished construction. In 1272 construction resumed under Giovanni di Simone, architect of the Camposanto. In an effort to compensate for the tilt, the engineers built upper floors with one side taller than the other. Because of this, the tower is actually curved. Construction was halted again in 1284, when the Pisans were defeated by the Genoans in the Battle of Meloria. After a phase (1990–2001) of structural strengthening, the tower is currently undergoing gradual surface restoration, in order to repair visual damage, mostly corrosion and blackening. These are particularly pronounced due to the tower's age and its exposure to wind and rain. A popular tourist activity, at the real Tower of Pisa, is to pose for photographs pretending to "hold up" the leaning tower and preventing it from falling. The illusion is created through the principle of forced perspective, but at this theme park you literally hold it up because of its scaled size. Our realistic models can be made of any structure or building and at different scale sizes to suit your purpose. They can be used as art pieces, museum exhibits, displays, conversation starters or any purpose you could imagine. Let us know what you are envisioning and provide us with your thoughts and we'll help you manifest them into reality.

Our experienced craftsmen have designed and built several miniature and scaled models of barns for films and tv shows for decades. If you are looking for a scaled model of a barn or farm, our artisans can build exactly what you are looking for. Just let us know what you have in mind and our professional staff will work closely with you every step of the way to construct the ideal barn or any building or scene you have in mind. Barns have been featured in movies more times than be counted, especially old westerns or movies set in the country. Sometimes it is more economical and practical to have a scaled model of a barn built and utilized during the making of a film than the real thing. This is especially true when you want to blow up, burn or destroy the barn or building during the movie as part of the plot without actually destroying a real barn. We can build scaled models of any building or structure toyou specific requests and at any level of detail you require. A barn is an agricultural building used for storage and as a covered workplace. It may sometimes be used to house livestock or to store farming vehicles and equipment. Barns are most commonly found on a farm. Older barns were usually built from lumber sawn from timber on the farm, although stone barns were sometimes built in areas where stone was a cheaper building material. In older style barns, the upper area was used to store hay and sometimes grain. This is called the hayloft. A large door at the top of the ends of the barn could be opened up so that hay could be put in the loft. The hay was hoisted into the barn by a system containing pulleys and a trolley that ran along a track attached to the top ridge of the barn. Trap doors in the floor allowed animal feed to be dropped into the mangers for the animals. In New England it is common to find barns attached to the main farmhouse, allowing for chores to be done while sheltering the worker from the weather. In the middle of the twentieth century the large broad roof of barns were sometimes painted with slogans in the United States. Another scale model building we created for a customer is this the shoe/ house that was described in the popular English language nursery rhyme "There Was An Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe", that we built as partof the set for a play. The most common version of the rhyme is: "There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children, she didn't know what to do; She gave them some broth without any bread; Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed." The earliest printed version in Joseph Ritson's Gammer Gurton's Garland in 1794 has the coarser last line: "She whipp'd all their bums, and sent them to bed." There were many other variations printed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Whatever building or structure you need a scaled model of, our experienced artists can design it and build it exactly as you request. We will use your ideas and help you get what you need working closely to ensure we are all on the same page and you get your needs met in the time frame you require.

Need a miniature scaled architectural model or building constructed for a film, museum exhibit or for you personal use? Our professional artisans have created countless scaled models to imitate already existing or prospective buildings for film, tv and real estate industries, as well as museum exhibits and dedicated buildings. We also recreate beautiful architectural achievements, such as the St. Basil's Cathedral, a Russian Orhthodox church pictured here. The Cathedral sports a series of colorful bulbous domes that taper to a point, aptly named onion domes, that are part of Moscow's Kremlin skyline. The cathedral was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible to commemorate the capture of the Khanate of Kazan. The cathedral in located in the Red Square, a city square in Moscow, Russia. The square separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and currently the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod. As major streets of Moscow radiate from here in all directions, being promoted to major highways outside the city, Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia. The square was meant to serve as Moscow's main marketplace. It was also used for various public ceremonies and proclamations, and occasionally as the site of coronation for Russia's Tsars. The square has been gradually built up since that point and has been used for official ceremonies by all Russian governments since it was established. The name Red Square derives neither from the colour of the bricks around it nor from the link between the colour red and communism. Rather, the name came about because the Russian word (krasnaya) can mean either "red" or "beautiful". This word, with the meaning "beautiful", was originally applied to Saint Basil's Cathedral and was subsequently transferred to the nearby square. As you can see from the picture shown, this miniature model is extremely convincing and would work great for a movie scene or museum exhibit. Our skilled professionalscan build any cultural building of interest to be an exact replica, residing in any country in the world. We can and have also built many different types of castles for films or tv shows over the years. These castles can also be built to you exact specifications and for your personal enjoyment or tobe shared with the public as an exhibit. A castle (from Latin castellum) is a type of fortified structure built in Europe and the Middle East during the Middle Ages by European nobility. Scholars debate the scope of the word castle, but usually consider it to be the private fortified residence of a lord or noble. This is distinct from a palace, which is not fortified, from a fortress, which was not always a residence for nobility, and from a fortified town, which was a public defence – though there are many similarities among these types of construction. Usage of the term has varied over time and has been applied to structures as diverse as hill forts and country houses. Over the approximately 900 years that castles were built they took on a great many forms with many different features, although some, such as curtain walls and arrowslits, were commonplace. Whatever building you are needing a scaled model of, we can make it happen. Just submit your ideas, drawings and photos to us and our artists can work with you to create precisely what you desire.

Are looking for a smaller scale sculpture or statue replica of a larger version somewhere or maybe you want and full size statue? Our experienced sculptors have replicated hundreds, if not thousands, of historical statues and monuments for a variety of purposes and we can do the same for you. Maybe you want a scaled version of the Statue of Liberty, probably the United States' most popular statue or any other famous statue or sculpture you can think of. These statues can be constructed at any size and of a material of your choosing. Our artists can also custom sculpt a statue or monument according to your specific details and ideas. These can be statues currently in existence or a statue or monument that is in ruins or been completely destroyed or just missing. A statue is a sculpture in the round representing a person or persons, an animal, or an event, normally full-length, as opposed to a bust, and at least close to life-size, or larger. Its primary concern is representational. Many statues are built on commission to commemorate a historical event, or the life of an influential person. Many statues are intended as public art, exhibited outdoors or in public buildings for the edification of passers-by, with a larger magnitude than normal words could ever have for the common man. In the widest sense of the term, sculpture is the art of representing in bodily form men, animals, and other objects in stone, bronze, ivory, clay and similar materials, whether the objects represented actuallyexist in nature or are the creation of the imagination of the artist. Statues are amongst the wonders of the world, with the Colossus of Rhodes and the Statue of Zeus at Olympia among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the Moai of Easter Island among the wonders of the modern world. Our skilled artisans also build scaled models of famous buildings like the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, pictured here, complete with built-in lighting effects. Models like these are used for the film industry, television, museums, art exhibits or anywhere else you could imagine. Also pictured, is a scaled model of a wooden roller coaster our experienced modelmakers created. A wooden roller coaster is most often classified as a roller coaster with laminated steel running rails overlaid upon a wooden track. Occasionally, the structure may be made out of a steel lattice or truss, but the ride remains classified as a wooden roller coaster due to the track design. Due to the limits of wood, wooden roller coasters in general do not have inversions (when the coaster goes upside down), steep drops, or extremely banked turns (overbanked turns). It is agreed on many that the Golden Era of coaster design was the 1920s. This was the decade many of the world's most iconic coasters were built. Unfortunately, the great depression ensured destruction of many of these great classics, but a few still stand as ACE classics and landmarks. Our company can construct any kind of roller coaster or amusement park ride you request and basically just about anything you can imagine. We have been designing and building scaled models of practically anything you can think of for a many different purposes, either replicas or custom designed and built models. Contact us and let us know what you have in mind, so that we can begin the process of turning your ideas into reality, whether you are working on a film, tv show, museum or art exhibit or any purpose you can think of.

Our scaled architectural models are constructed to replicate the original building so precisely that is hard for anyone to discern the difference. Our artisans carefully handcraft every detail of the structure down to a tee, including a comprehensive paint job that expresses the condition, natural aging process and every little detail of the structure. Our artists can first create a painting of the proposed model or any idea you have in mind for a building, whether it be already existing or in your imagination. Pictured here we have a scaled model we built of the royal Chateau de Chambord at Chambord of Loir-et-Cher, France being one of the most recognizable chateaux in the world because of its very distinct French Renaissance architecture which blends traditional French medieval forms with classical Italian structures. Chateaux in the 16th-century departed from castle architecture; while they were off-shoots of castles, with features commonly associated with them, they did not have serious defences. Extensive gardens and water features, such as a moat, were common amongst chateaux from this period. Chambord is no exception to this pattern. The layout is reminiscent of a typical castle with a keep, corner towers, and defended by a moat. Built in Renaissance style, the internal layout is an early example of the French and Italian style of grouping rooms into self-contained suites, a departure from the medieval style of corridor rooms. The massive chateau is composed of a central keep with four immense bastion towers at the corners. The keep also forms part of the front wall of a larger compound with two more large towers. Bases for a possible further two towers are found at the rear, but these were never developed, and remain the same height as the wall. The château features 440 rooms, 365 fireplaces, and 84 staircases. Four rectangular vaulted hallways on each floor form a cross-shape. Some authors claim that the French Renaissance architect Philibert Delorme had a considerable role in the chateau's design, and others have suggested that Leonardo da Vinci may have designed it. While the original chateau is an amazing spectacle, our scaled model is still very impressive. Let us know if you would like a replica of this beautiful building or any other building or structure would like and we can custom build it for you to exact specifications. These models can be created and used for a variety of purposes that can only be limited by your imagination. Miniatures and models can also be used as contemporary art whereby artists use both scratch built miniaturizations or commercially manufactured models to construct a dialogue between object and viewer. The role of the artist in this type of miniature is not necessarily to recreate an historical event or achieve naturalist realism, but rather to use scale as a mode of articulation in generating conceptual or theoretical exploration.

Scaled Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triumph Monuments

We can construct realistic scale models of monuments large structures for filmmaking, museum exhibits, as an art piece or just for personal use. Our professional modelmakers can create scaled or full size models of just about anything and so precisely that they are very convincing to the viewer. Here we have a scaled model of the Eiffel Tower that our company produced for a film in the past. We also built another scaled model of the Eiffel Tower with snow on it. These models can be very effective for many different purposes, but can be especially cost-effective for filming movies and making it unnecessary to fly all the way to Paris, France to film the tower in person and also makes it much easier if you need to destroy the building in the movie or need a shot with snow on it without waiting for it to actually snow. The Eiffel Tower (nicknamed the iron lady) is a puddle iron lattice tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Built in 1889, it has become both a global icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world; millions of people ascend it every year. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair. The tower stands 1,063 ft tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building. Upon its completion, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to assume the title of the tallestman-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years, until the Chrysler Building in New York City was built in 1930. However, due to the addition, in 1957, of the antenna atop the Eiffel Tower, is now taller than the Chrysler Building. Not including broadcast antennas, it is the second-tallest structure in France, after the Millau Viaduct. The tower has three levels for visitors. Tickets can be purchased to ascend, by stairs or lift, to the first and second levels. The walk from ground level to the first level is over 300 steps, as is the walk from the first to the second level. The third and highest level is accessible only by elevator. Both the first and second levels feature restaurants. The tower has become the most prominent symbol of both Paris and France, often in the establishing shotof films set in the city. The Arc de Triomphe is another famous monument in Paris. It stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle,at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. There is a smaller arch, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, which stands west of the Louvre. The Arc de Triomphe honours those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I. These monuments and any others can be built on any scale you wish and to your exact specifications for whatever purpose you have in mind.

We can build scaled models of any existing building or even anything you can imagine. Our skilled artisans have been creating miniature and scaled models of buildings, structures and monuments for decades with precision. We can also build models of any idea you might have or collaborate with you to come up with a new idea. Just let us know your ideas and give us any drawings or photos you might have to help us realize what you are envisioning and we can begin to design and build a scaled model that willwork for you. Here you can see some of the scaled models we've made for customers in the past. While they are usually for the film industry or used in a display at a museum exhibit, they can also be used in many other ways. Pictured here is a replica of the Twin Towers of Lower Manhattan, New York City, part of the World Trade Center, a complex of seven buildings featuring the Twin Towers. The original plan called for the towers to be 80 stories tall. To meet the Port Authority's requirement for 10,000,000 square feet of office space, the buildings would each have to be 110 stories tall. The complex opened on April 4, 1973, and was destroyed in 2001 during the September 11 attacks. The site is being rebuilt with five new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks. At the time of their completion, 1 and 2 World Trade Center were the tallest buildings in the world, surpassing the Empire State Building, also in Manhattan. We have also built many asian and indian architectural wonders like the one pictured here as well as the famous temple complex in Angkor,Cambodia, Angkor Wat, built for the king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation – first Hindu, dedicated to the god Vishnu, then Buddhist. It is the world's largest religious building. The temple has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors. Unlike most Angkorian temples, Angkor Wat is oriented to the west; scholars are divided as to the significance of this. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs, and for the numerous devatas (guardian spirits) adorning its walls. The modern name, Angkor Wat, means "City Temple"; Angkor is a vernacular form of the word nokor, which comes from the Sanskrit word nagar, Thai, Nakon, meaning capital or city. Wat is the Khmer word for temple. Also shown here is a model we created of the Taj Mahal, or "crown of buildings", a mausoleum located in Agra, India that was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage." Please let us know if you would like our skilled professional modelmakers to build one of these extremely realistic miniature or scaled models of a building of cultural or architectural significance or any building at all. Our artists can help you design and build anything you can imagine and work closely with you every step of the way to ensure you are satisfied with the end result.

Our company has produced some of the most realistic scaled models of some of the most famous buildings in the United States for many different films, tv shows, museum and art exhibits for years. Our quality replicas have convinced viewers time and time again that they are the real thing when used in the filming industry and have also been appreciated as part of an exhibit. One of our most historically significant buildings was the World Trade Center and it Twin Towers, which tragically were attacked on September 11th, 2001 and thousands of Americans lives were lost. The World Trade Center was more than its signature twin towers: it was a complex of seven buildings on 16-acres, constructed and operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). The towers, One and Two World Trade Center, rose at the heart of the complex, each climbing more than 100 feet higher than the silver mast of the Empire State Building. Construction began in 1966 and cost an estimated $1.5 billion. One World Trade Center was ready for its first tenants in late 1970, though the upper stories were not completed until 1972; Two World Trade Center was finished in 1973. Excavation to bedrock 70 feet below produced the material for the Battery Park City landfill project in the Hudson River. When complete, the Center met with mixed reviews, but at 1,368 and 1,362 feet and 110 stories each, the twin towers were the world's tallest, and largest, buildings until the Sears Tower surpassed them both in 1974. Now that the Twin Towers have been destroyed, the only way to film a scene during the time that they were still standing is to use our scaled models to recreate their existence. They have also been used to commemorate what they stood for and to remember what we all went through as a country. The US Capital is another famous building we created a scale model of in the past. The United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., is among the most architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. It has housed the meeting chambers of the Senate and the House of Representatives for almost two centuries. Begun in 1793, the Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended, and restored; today, it stands as amonument not only to its builders but also to the American people and their government. Another iconic world landmark that our skilled artisans created in a scaled model for the film industry is Times Square. Times Square is a major intersection in New York City that was named after the Times Building (now One Times Square), where The New York Times was formerly headquartered. Nicknamed "The Crossroads of the World," Times Square is located at Broadway and Seventh Avenue and extends from West 42nd to West 47th Streets (click here to view a map of Times Square). Like city squares in many other major cities around the world, Times Square has become an illustrious landmark and a symbol of New York City and is also the site of the annual ball drop on New Year's Eve. Whatever you planning to have created or replicated, our skilled professionals can design and build scaled models of whatever size you request and any building, structure or sculpture you can imagine. Just submit your ideas, photos and drawings and we can work with you to get the result you desire.

Are you looking for a scaled model of Saint Peter's Basilica church for a film, tv show, museum exhibit or theme park of some kind? Here you can see a scaled model we created in the past to such detail that you can't even tell that it's a model from a photo or video. These kinds of scaled models have also been used in many different museums and art galleries as exhibits as well as at theme parks that allow guests to view some of the most amazing buildings in the world in one location at at a much smaller scale. Saint Peter's Basilica is a Late Renaissance church located within the Vatican City. Saint Peter's Basilica has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world. While it is neither the official mother church of the Roman Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Pope as Bishop of Rome, Saint Peter's is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites. It has been described as "holding a unique position in the Christian world" and as "the greatest of all churches of Christendom". In Roman Catholic tradition, the basilica is the burial site of its namesake Saint Peter, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and, according to tradition, the first Bishop of Rome and therefore first in the line of the papal succession. Tradition and some historical evidence hold that Saint Peter's tomb is directly below the altar of the basilica. For this reason, many Popes have been interred at St. Peter's since the Early Christian period. There has been a church on this site since the 4th century. Construction of the present basilica, over the old Constantinian basilica, began on 18 April 1506 and was completed on 18 November1626. Its central dome dominates the skyline of Rome. The basilica is approached via St. Peter's Square, a forecourt in two sections, both surrounded by tall colonnades. The first space is oval and the second trapezoid. The facade of the basilica, with a giant order of columns, stretches across the end of the square and is approached by steps on which stand two 18.2 ft statues of the 1st century apostles to Rome, Saints Peter and Paul. The basilica is cruciform in shape, with an elongated nave in the Latin cross form but the early designs were for a centrally planned structure and this is still in evidence in the architecture. The central space is dominated both externally and internally by one of the largest domes in the world. The entrance is through a narthex, or entrance hall, which stretches across the building. One of the decorated bronze doors leading from the narthex is the Holy Door, only opened in Holy Years. The interior is of vast dimensions by comparison with other churches. One author wrote: "Only gradually does it dawn upon us – as we watch people draw near to this or that monument, strangely they appear to shrink; they are, of course, dwarfed by the scale of everything in the building. This in its turn overwhelms us." This church's architecture has been appreciated by spectators for decades and continues to amaze onlookers in person, in a film or even as a museum exhibit. Our professional artisans can build replica buildings and structures or even construct customized projects to your exact details.

The Finest European Cathedral or Church Scaled Models

Our experienced professional artisans have already builtscaled models of a variety of the most architecturally intriguing cathedrals and churches around the world. While many of them were sold and reside in museums and theme parks across the globe, as well as being featured in countless movies and tv shows, several of these scaled models are being held in our storage facility, shown here, and can be purchased or rented. We can make replicas of these models or create an entirely new design of your request. One of our previous projects was to replicate the magnificent temple, Sagrada Familia, a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi (1852–1926). Gaudi's original design calls for a total of eighteen spires, representing in ascending order of height the Twelve Apostles, the four Evangelists, the Virgin Mary and, tallest of all, Jesus Christ. Also pictured here is a scaled model we constructed of the Milan Cathedral, the cathedral church of Milan in Lombardy, northern Italy. Dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente, it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola. The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and by far the largest in Italy. We have also created many other models of famous temples, churches andcathedrals for the filming industry, while other times these models have been used to represent a prospective structure that is still in the planning stages to help everyone realize its appearance and functionality before actually constructing the large scale building. Many times the miniature scale model of a building is placed inside that same building lobby after it has been constructedas a display. Architecture firms usually employ model makers or contract model making firms to make models of projects to sell their designs to builders and investors. They have been used for property developments to give an aerial view to prospective home buyers and show future development. Whatever purpose you intend your model to entail, let us know specifically what you are looking for and we can assist you by utilizing your ideas and bringing them to fruition.
